Checking the APN setting
Most phones configure the APN automatically. Here's how to check it if data won't connect.
The APN (Access Point Name) tells your phone how to reach the internet on a network. It's set automatically in most cases.
If your plan page or order lists a specific APN:
- iPhone: Settings → Mobile Service → [Wayline line] → Mobile Data Network and enter the APN under Mobile Data.
- Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → [Wayline line] → Access Point Names, tap +, enter the APN, save and select it.
Leave username and password blank unless your order says otherwise.
