Getting started
Installing before you travel
Install at home on Wi-Fi, then switch on when you land.
We recommend installing your eSIM a day or two before you leave, while you have reliable Wi-Fi.
At home
- Install the eSIM (see the guide for your phone).
- Label the line something clear, like Wayline Travel.
- Switch the Wayline line off until you arrive.
When you land
- Switch the Wayline line on.
- Turn on Data Roaming for the Wayline line. This is required even though the plan is prepaid; it lets the eSIM use local partner networks.
- Set the Wayline line as your mobile data line.
Installing doesn't start your plan for most plans. Each plan page states when validity begins.
