Troubleshooting
Before anything else: restart your phone, check the Wayline line is switched on and selected for mobile data, and that data roaming is on for it. That fixes most issues.
QR code won't scan or is rejected
What to do when the camera won't read the code or your phone says it's invalid.
eSIM installed but won't activate
The eSIM shows in settings but never connects.
No signal on the Wayline line
The line shows “No service” or searches indefinitely.
Signal but no mobile data
Bars are showing but nothing loads.
Checking the APN setting
Most phones configure the APN automatically. Here's how to check it if data won't connect.
Why data roaming must be on
Roaming is required for travel eSIMs; and it doesn't create extra charges from us.
My phone doesn't support eSIM
What to do if you discover your phone can't use eSIM.
My phone is carrier-locked
Locked phones can't use other networks' eSIMs until unlocked.
My plan has expired
Expired plans can't be reused, but eligible plans can be topped up.
I deleted my eSIM by mistake
What can (and can't) be done after an eSIM is removed.
Topping up an existing eSIM
Add data to the eSIM you already have.
Checking how much data is left
Where to see remaining data, and why it can lag slightly.
Still not connecting? Send us your order number, phone model and location; we'll check the line with our network partner.
